His works were recognized on the Prague music stage, and his activities expanded. The following year, their first son was born. Dvořák's life seemed to be sailing smoothly, as he was awarded a scholarship, but just then he suffered the sad loss of his eldest daughter. Despite his grief, Dvořák began composing \"Stabat Mater\" and finished the sketches. However, in the time it took him to complete the work, he also lost two children, and as if to shake off his grief, he completed the entire work in 1877. The version with orchestra is usually known as the version completed in 1877, and the \"Piano Accompaniment Version,\" which is a sketch, is rarely performed. There are only seven complete pieces. The fifth piece, \"Tui nati\", \"Fac me vere tecum\", and the seventh piece, \"Virgo virginum\", are not included. However, the result is beautifully simple, strongly reflecting Dvořák's sincere thoughts, and the Bavarian Radio Chorus, conducted by Arman, sings with a limpid voice of lament and prayer. This release was decided upon due to the great reception it received at the concert.
