Toronto four-piece pop-punk band, PUP, has dropped THIS PLACE SUCK ASS, an EP of endlessly poppy, infinitely hyped up songs that didn't make it into their 2019 album, MORBID STUFF, plus a few new songs! It would be mottainai not to listen to it! PUP is a four-piece pop-punk band from Toronto that has been rocking the hearts of rock kids with their bouncy, high-tension, and pop melodies. The band will release a new EP featuring songs that didn't make it onto their 2019 album "Morbid Stuff". When "MORBID STUFF" was completed, the members of PUP were left with a few songs that didn't fit into the atmosphere of the album. These were the songs that were left off the album because they were a little too outlandish or frenetic for the kind of album that imagines the world exploding. Usually we save the really dark songs for the end of the album," explains frontman Stefan Babcock, "but we realized that 'Morbid Stuff' was already a pretty dark album. However, the members liked these "if it didn't fit the theme, it got left out" songs so much that they decided that they should stand on their own, rather than force them into an album or treat them as lost and put them away forever. The result is the EP "This Place Suck Ass". The songs "Nothing Changes" and "Floodgates" are PUP's signature pop-rock numbers that were not included on "MORBID STUFF" and are a miraculous marriage of tragedy, humor, and pathos. Also included on the album is a punk-inspired cover of Grandaddy's "A.M180," which was featured in the sci-fi horror zombie film "28 Days Later," and "Edmonton," which could be called a 70-second moment of art. Also noteworthy for all PUP fans is the new song "Rot," which opens the album. Produced this year, it's a pummeling, straight-ahead punk number that captures their feelings of doubt about the high praise and good fortune they've received over the past few years.Whether it's winning Alternative Album of the Year at the JUNO Awards, Canada's Grammy Awards, getting the chance to perform on the national network NBC's "Late Night With Seth Myers," or playing to packed houses full of rabid fans They are always anxious about "careers that can fade away in an instant. They take the conflicting themes of mental exhaustion and fun, and project them on a large wall with a projector. This place sucks ass" is an EP that will make you feel a little lucky that there is good luck in leftovers.

Tracklisting:

1.Rot
2.Anaphylaxis
3.A.M. 180 (Grandaddy cover)
4.Nothing Changes
5.Floodgates
6.Edmonton
