Venezuela has been suffering from a deteriorating security situation and an increase in violent crimes. In 1975, in order to save children from crime and poverty, Dr. Abreu began to combine social activities with classical music, not to \"learn performance skills\" but to involve them in collaborative work.Thirty years have passed since the start of its activities, and it has produced a national orchestra, the Simon Bolivar Youth Orchestra, as well as Gustavo Dudamel, the most famous conductor of all time, and Edinson Lewis, the youngest double bass player in the Berlin Philharmonic.
