His addition to the band evolved the band from their Rainbow-inspired debut album to a more broadly musical hard rock sound.Steve Vai then visited Japan in October 1984 as a member of Alcatraz before the release of the completed new album \"Disturbing The Peace\". The concert at Nakano Sun-plaza on October 11, the last day of the tour, was recorded for a video, which was broadcast on PBS (in the US) for promotional purposes. This live album is based on this material and includes the complete concert, including the encores.
