For this reissue, the original analog master tapes from Germany were used to create a new digital version via high-bit, high-resolution mastering (192 kHz\/24-bit), bringing all 16 exquisite tracks back to life with a fresh, vibrant sound.\n\nThis recording was made when Simon Goldberg was 65 years old and was completed in just seven months, with sessions held in February, May, and September 1974 at different locations. The impact of this short recording period on the performance is remarkable; the high level of perfection achieved through concentration—as if written in a single stroke—and the rapport with pianist Lupu are truly captivating.
