Among the highlights of this project is the complete symphonic works of Claudio Santoro, one of Brazil's most famous symphonists. The album includes works from the 1960s. In 1960, Santoro visited Cologne at the invitation of the West German government and then moved to Berlin to study electronic music. He then moved to Berlin to study electronic music. There, Santoro's failing health and financial difficulties led the East German Composers' League to offer him support, and he spent the summer of 1961 in East Berlin, where he witnessed the August 13th construction of the Berlin Wall. The autograph of the first movement of the cello concerto is dated \"August 1961\" and the second movement \"August 28, 1961,\" and the entire work was completed in October of the same year.Santoro refused to see this as title music, but the highly tense and raucous music evokes a sense of struggle and anxiety. The performance lasts a little over 32 minutes. The solo cello requires a strong virtuosity. Santoro returned to Brazil and in 1962 was invited to become the dean of the newly established Faculty of Music at the University of Brasilia in the capital. In 1964, when a military coup brought a dictatorship to Brazil, Santoro was invited to join the faculty of music at the University of Brasilia in the capital, Santoro was ousted from his university position and moved to Germany because of his leftist views. In Germany, he studied electronic music as well as music of chance. The result of this research was works such as \"Three Abstractions.
