He was regarded as one of the most important symphonic composers of the late 1970s in Vienna. This third collection includes two symphonies and two opera overtures. The Symphony in C major, published in 1798, is the first recording of an extended orchestral version that includes trumpet and timpanone (large timpani) added for a private concert of Ferdinand III in Tuscany. The symphony contains adaptations from past stage music. The two overtures are both highly enjoyable works that reflect Vranitsky's skill as a composer of theater music.
