The Eckerle Piano Duo, active mainly in Germany, performs all of Schumann's arrangements, and this sixth volume, the second to last, includes the masterpiece \"Piano Concerto,\" \"Overture, Scherzo and Finale,\" and the overture to \"The Bride of Messina. The highlights are the brilliant arrangements by Schumann's junior composer August Horn (1825-1893), which clearly show the richness of the orchestral part in the Piano Concerto.
