An ambitious work that attempts to recreate prewar popular songs using Showa-era song taste and lost technology is now available on LP! Winner of the 34th Music Pen Club Music Award for "Best Popular Song"! Recorded at the end of 2020 at the Yokuraya storehouse in the Sawara district of Katori City, Chiba Prefecture. The arrangement is as close to the original as possible, and the recording method is a single prewar Mazda A velocity microphone with no multitracking, one-shot simultaneous recording, and no editing. The concept of the song selection is "sound-oriented" and does not consider ironclad hits, but focuses on the three elements of "melody, arrangement, and recording," and includes 11 songs with "texture and groove as the top priority. Prewar storehouses, prewar microphones, prewar songs, prewar arrangements, prewar singing, prewar taste and lost technology are reproduced to the fullest, and the sound is a historical masterpiece with a fresh sound never heard before!
