The album is intuitive and bold: Greene has moved away from the treadmill of music as a business, giving way instead to his artistic interests. A Georgia native, he left Atlanta in 2021 to return to the countryside where he has been familiar since childhood. Once a voracious escapist, he is now enamored with the wonders of reality around him. I once read that every five, or even ten years, you literally become a different person on a cellular level. What you are going through will eventually change you. This album is a reflection of that. My experiments with painting and sculpture help my music. They influence each other. It was a kind of realization for me. I don't want to look back on my life one day and think, 'Oh, it was all about maximizing productivity.
