Official, officially recognized by Raley's, which has the legal rights to the sound sources, and remastered from the original analog tapes by Makoto Kubota. Includes booklet with liner notes by Minoru Tezuka (manager of OZ\/ later manager of Raley's) and rare photos from the era. Comes with craft board sleeve and obi.\n\n\n\nOpened in 1972 on the second floor of a building not far from Kichijoji Station, the live house OZ was a cluttered, handmade rock cafe that existed for only a year and three months, but during its brief existence, it became the center of Tokyo's burgeoning underground and counterculture, It became a special place where not only musicians but also unique individuals gathered.\n\nOne of the main groups at OZ was the Naked Rallies, a psychedelic noise band from Kyoto.\n\nThe now-legendary band, with enigmatic leader Takashi Mizutani, was one of the first bands booked by OZ, and eventually appeared in a series of live shows called \"OZ LAST DAYS,\" a five-day extravaganza celebrating the short-lived but wonderful world of OZ, organized after its closing. The band also eventually appeared in the \"OZ LAST DAYS\" series of shows organized in response to its closing, a five-day raucous event celebrating the short-lived but wonderful world of OZ.\n\n\n\nThe sound recordings made in the OZ store on that occasion were released as a self-produced double LP titled \"OZ DAYS LIVE\". The artists included in the set were Miyako Ochi, Acid Seven, Masato Minami, Taj Mahal Traveling Troupe, and Naked Rallies. Although these were only a small portion of the recordings made at the time, these four songs were the only official Raley's recordings to this day on analog LP.\n\n\n\nBut now, with The OZ Tapes, we can finally hear them all.\n\nLeft on Scotch open-reel reels, these recordings had lain dormant for almost half a century.\n\n\n\nNever before heard, they reveal the Raleys at their most unbridled and experimental, as well as subtle and beautiful.It is this duality that Takashi Mizutani possesses that will define the band's legacy--and the legacy of the band.\n\n\n\nListening to \"The OZ Tapes\" in its entirety is a way of unraveling a part of Raley's history shrouded in a haze.\n\nOf course, the OZ Tapes are also a source from a vibrant and seemingly innocent time that still hints at the unexplored and unexplored world into which Mizutani would later take the band.\n\nText by Yosuke Kitazawa\u003c\/p\u003e","brand":"Temporal Drift","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":50716262531361,"sku":"195893730780","price":1364.0,"currency_code":"THB","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0568\/8482\/2076\/files\/195893730780.jpg?v=1734945468","url":"https:\/\/cdsvinyljapan.com\/en-th\/products\/195893730780","provider":"CDs Vinyl Japan Store","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
