British indie rock band British Sea Power's soundtrack "Man Of Aran" is being reissued + reissued on vinyl for the first time! British Sea Power, now renamed Sea Power, has reissued "Man Of Aran," the soundtrack commissioned by the Edinburgh Film Festival in 2009, for the first time on vinyl and reissue through Rough Trade,This time, for the first time, it will also be available on vinyl! This is the soundtrack to a fictional documentary called "Man Of Aran" produced in 1934 by Robert Flaherty, known as the "father of documentary," and when the music was first released, the band performed while the full-length black-and-white film was shown, attracting much attention.The soundtrack to the film, which depicts the daily lives of the people of the Aran Islands in the Irish Free State as they face the harsh natural environment, consists of 12 songs, mostly instrumental, that are as powerful and beautiful as the people who live strong lives on these islands. A true artistic collaboration, realized decades apart, can finally be experienced on vinyl with this reissue.
