Description:
Black Desert Sun is a psychedelic stoner/doom/desert rock band from Iceland. The band's self-titled debut album was released digitally in 2016, followed by its first physical format release in 2022 on OZIUM Records. The music is straight out of KYUSS, a prominent pioneer of the genre, with bottom-heavy guitar riffs, languid and emotional vocals, a robust rhythm section, and a face of intuitive guitar solos, and above all, a rock band The solid band ensemble from the 70's hard rock combined with the stoner atmosphere of the songs gives the album a good analog feel.
