[Mitsuko Uchida's recordings of Mozart's complete piano concertos began in 1985 with the support of the English Chamber Orchestra, conducted by Tate, whom she describes as "an orchestra that encourages me to express myself. The recordings include No. 22, which has an extremely charming slow movement full of pathos, and No. 26, which is a graceful piece of music.
