There is a piano duo version of Bach's "Brandenburg Concerto" by Max Reger, but it is said that there are places where the handling of harmony and performance methods are difficult, perhaps because it is a theoretical arrangement. The score of Eleonore Bindman's arrangement is more focused on "ease of playing on the piano" than Reger's version, and was written with consideration of "how Bach himself would distribute the notes if he were arranging for the modern piano. The two pianists were made to play the notes evenly, and the melding of their sounds, Bindman and Lin, creates a new version of Bach's fascinating concerto. Naxos Japan
