Nocturne is a work that tests true musicianship more than superficial technique, and the essence of the artist is more severely tested. Yokoyama, in combination with his keen sense of sound, creates a clear and brilliant sound, and brings out the complex expression of the piece while keeping the overall flow of the piece calm and collected.
