The Mendelssohn Violin Concerto with Eric Friedman (1939-2004), who is known as a student of Heifetz and left many famous recordings. The New York Times wrote, "A master violinist. The New York Times praised Friedman as "a master violinist, a virtuoso who plays with a distinctive style that makes him recognizable to everyone. Schumann's piano concerto and R. Strauss's "Burleske" were performed with Renard Penario (1924-2008), a great pianist who continued to support the backbone of 20th century American music, and Ozawa enlivened the soloist with his distinctive sense of color and rhythm.
