This is the long-awaited solo album by Kazuaki Kikumoto, who has been active as the principal of the NHK Symphony Orchestra for the past 10 years. Kazuaki Kikumoto himself selected the music on the theme of "Journey from Germany to the East," and included pieces by composers from five different countries. Kazuaki Kikumoto's warm tone and overwhelming technique on trumpet, supported by Yusuke Satake on piano, bring out the charm of the songs even more deeply. Recorded at Fujimi Civic Cultural Hall (Kirari Fujimi), Saitama, Japan, October 9-11, 2020.
