The 10 songs on the album combine a political statement based on racial pride with an authentic US funk sound that is completely dance-oriented.The compilation \"Black Rio - Brazilian Soul Power 1971-1980\" supervised by DJ Cliffy, which greatly contributed to the reevaluation of this type of sound, selected \"Uma Chance\" from this album as the last song, and it has long been considered one of the best Brazilian funk albums.
