The songwriting has not changed at all. This album was produced in three studios with three songwriters, the band's soundman David Henderson, drummer Francis MacDonald, and keyboardist Dave McGowan. It was recorded at Vega Studios in rural Provence, France, at Raymond's home studio in Glasgow, and mixed at Cloud Hill in Hamburg.As before, the album features three songwriters, Norman, Gerald, and Raymond, who each wrote four songs on the album, taking advantage of the band's internal democracy.
