This album contains rarely heard songs and piano pieces. His songs are based on texts by various poets, but his works on Heine's poems are especially appreciated. The first half of the album presents a collection of songs on Heine's poems. Josef's Story\" for piano was composed in 1955.Written in memory of Thomas Mann, who died in August of the same year, it was inspired by Mann's Joseph and His Brothers. 1929's La canzone di Usigliano Usigliano uses a poem by Tedesco's brother-in-law Fernando Liuzzi. It is based on a folk song from Tuscany. The \"Indian Serenade\" is based on a love poem by the English poet Shelley, also published by Forlivesi. Sonnets from Three Portuguese Languages, based on a poem by Elizabeth Barrett Browning, was published by Chester in London in 1928. Tedesco loved Browning's poetry, and in his autobiography he recounts his memories of looking at Browning's tomb from his apartment in Florence.\n\nThe American soprano Elizabeth Hertzberg and Simonetta Hager, who studied at the Milan Conservatory and is also a harpsichordist, give an intimate performance.\n\n\n\n(Naxos Japan)\u003c\/p\u003e","brand":"Dynamic (Classical \/ Italy)","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":51265077674273,"sku":"4589538821081","price":192.0,"currency_code":"SEK","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0568\/8482\/2076\/files\/4589538821081.jpg?v=1747037582","url":"https:\/\/cdsvinyljapan.com\/en-se\/products\/4589538821081","provider":"CDs Vinyl Japan Store","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
