The band briefly disbanded in 1995, but reunited in 2003 and released a new album in 2014, their first in nearly 20 years, to the delight of longtime fans. In 2016, however, the band went on hiatus following the death of original drummer Craig Gill.\n\n\n\nThe Inspiral Carpets are now releasing a complete singles collection.This collection, consisting of three CDs, covers their five studio albums LIFE (1990), THE BEAST INSIDE (1991), REVENGE OF THE GOLDFISH (1992), DEVIL HOPPING (1994), and \"INSPIRIAL CARPETS\" (2014), which encompasses all the singles of the Inspiral Carpets, including four UK Top 20 singles born from \"INSPIRIAL CARPETS\" (2014).
