Following two albums titled \"Piano Concertos of the 1920s\" (74321910142 and 82876510512), which were well received and well planned, this album features Beethoven's Piano Concerto No. 3. The highlight here is the cadenza. The album features performances of cadenzas by six composers, including Beethoven's own cadenza, contemporary composers, and the performers' own compositions. This is a very typical project of his. The names of the five composers other than Beethoven are familiar to piano fans and fans of decadent music, and the album provides a bird's-eye view of the \"flow of music\" with Beethoven as its motif. The cadenza attributed to Brahms has a solid Beethovenian structure and is truly \"Brahmsian,\" but in fact Moscheles may have had a hand in its composition... in the performer Richet's opinion. The brilliant pianism of this piece is a must-see. The legendary piano giant Arkan's huge cadenzas, Richet's favorite Schulhoff, and the surprisingly conservative Ullmann's music. Richet himself also performs a cadenza.Incidentally, the total recording time of this CD is 61 minutes, of which the cadenza portion alone takes up about 25 minutes. ［Comment courtesy of BMG Japan.]\u003c\/p\u003e","brand":"Arte Nova","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":45486943502625,"sku":"828768258620","price":38.0,"currency_code":"RON","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0568\/8482\/2076\/products\/828768258620.jpg?v=1687268434","url":"https:\/\/cdsvinyljapan.com\/en-ro\/products\/828768258620","provider":"CDs Vinyl Japan Store","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
