Trumpeter Matthias Icke makes his only return since Lackner's debut, The Last Decade, and can be heard in Mark Turner's distinctive saxophone dialect and impressive dualisms.The horn duo and pianist are joined by the extraordinary bassist Linda May Han Oh and French drummer Mathieu Chazarenc, who was part of Lackner's trio before the pianist's time at ECM.
