He has been in close contact with Saariaho for more than 40 years, and this album is a tribute to his good friend.\n\nThe \"Prelude\" at the beginning of the album is based on the first piece from the song collection \"Four Moments. It is characterized by repetitive minimalist movements. Arabesque and Adagio\" is inspired by the work of sculptor Jean Tinguely. Autumn\" is an arrangement for harp solo for harpsichord from the ballet music \"Maa,\" premiered by Hakkila, with electronics by Saariaho.
