In this tenth collection, they perform works from the composer's childhood, when he was a child prodigy. In these four concertos, his father Leopold gave the 11-year-old Mozart sonatas for keyboard by popular composers of the day such as Honeauer and Laupach, and had him practice arranging them into concertos by adding orchestral parts. This technique of \"pastiche\" (imitation of style) was widely used, especially in the late Baroque and early Classical periods. Mozart completed his works by writing only the orchestral parts without making any alterations to the original works. For this concert, Bavouzet prepared cadenzas that he considered appropriate for each piece. In the second movement of No. 2, he plays a cadenza by Marei Pellaea, and in the third movement, a cadenza presumably by Messiaen, which was played by Yvonne Lorio, whom Bavouzet admires.
