The group was active from the late 1980s through the mid-2010s, centered around four members: Robert Heinen (who later founded Exquisite Corps), , Rainier Brekermans, Rijnoud van den Broek, and Tim Freeman, and was active from the late 1980s through the mid-2010s. While they were respected within the industry in real time—having even handled remixes for Orbital and Mark Bloom—they were generally a cult group whose reputation has been steadily growing since the 2010s, largely due to the re-release of their singles alongside Exquisite Corps. This album, *OvBiospheresAndSacredGrooves*, is their first album released on the renowned Belgian EBM label KKRecords. Originally released in 1992, the album features tracks like the singles “Obsidian” and “The Challenge.” Each track is rooted in techno and industrial while incorporating diverse rhythms and timbres from world music.
