Rare demo recordings from the early to mid-1980s reveal his insatiable exploration of electronic music and his vision of an unfinished future! Robert Calvert, a maverick known for his work as a lyricist, performance poet, and lead vocalist for Hawkwind, as well as a co-writer of “SilverMachine.” This release is a compilation of rare demo recordings from the early to mid-1980s, created during his period of seclusion. It not only captures his creative journey as he became increasingly drawn to electronic music but also offers fascinating insight into the concept for his next album—one that would likely have been completed had he not passed away suddenly in 1988. The collection also includes early versions of tracks later featured on his solo albums *Freq* and *Test-Tube Conceived*.
