This is the world premiere recording of the Cello Concerto and Violin Concerto by Josef Antonín Gretzky (1709-1769), an 18th century Czech composer who is said to have served as music director of Olomouc Cathedral. The 1st violin \u0026amp; soloist is Rodolfo Richter, a virtuoso who studied with Monika Haggett and succeeded Rachel Podger as 1st violin of the Palladian Ensemble (now the Palladians).The soloist for the cello concerto is Kinga Gaboriani, guest principal cellist for OAE and English Concerts and viola da gamba player for Gardiner \u0026amp; English Baroque Soloists.
