Håkon Graf (key\/org\/synth), who is well known for his work with RUPHUS in the previous period, took his place on keyboards, and the band also welcomed a new member, violinist Trond Villa (vl), for a five-member lineup on this album.\n\nThe psychedelic color of the previous album faded away, probably due to the change of members and the influence of the times, and the sound changed to a stylish crossover sound featuring a violin and an electric piano with a low center of gravity and an assertive bass as its foundation.The title track 'Funky Hi-Way' shows the jazz funk color with synths and guitars, while the violin and hard piano sound shows a different direction from the previous album, and the big song 'White' shows a rapid development that is progressive.
