This is the 10th anniversary re-recording of post-classical standard-bearer Max Richter's German Gramophone debut album "Recomposed By Max Richter - Vivaldi: The Four Seasons" (Japanese title "25% Vivaldi Recomposed By Max Richter"). The original album is Richter's most successful physical work (165,000 copies worldwide, 450 million streams) and the top three (Sleep, Blue Notebook), a work that changed the definition of the genre. This new recording has a particular sound, using period instruments and early 70s Mogg synthesizers (the first generation of vintage synthesizers). Richter describes the difference as "the difference between smooth peanut butter and grainy peanut butter. The difference in edgy textures is what makes it so appealing. (C)RS
