This is the second collection of little-known piano works by composer Guedini (1892-1965), who taught composition for many years at the Turin and Parma Conservatories and was director of the Milan Conservatory from 1951 to 1962. Here we hear eight works that span more than 40 years of compositional age. The early Sonatine is like a Romantic work, and one might sigh at its arpeggiated beauty. Nine years later, however, the \"Prairilha\" is a somewhat indecipherable work, one that is more enjoyable for its richness of color than for its melody. Please listen to his other works as well. You will definitely fall in love with Ghedini's diverse world. Please also listen to the first album (8.572329).
