In December 2015, the Sibelius Society of Finland awarded her the historic and traditional \"Sibelius Medal\" for her accomplishments over the years. He studied piano with Hidemitsu Hayashi, Susumu Umetani, Abhay Simon, Georges Chebok, and Stanislav Neigaus, chamber music with János Starker, and composition with Teruyuki Noda.
