Reinecke was a German Romantic composer. In the music drama "The Swan in the Field," previously released on the label, we could hear lyrical and charming music that follows the story. In this album, we can enjoy two similar works. Ashes to Ashes" is another name for Cinderella. The story is spun one after another in solo and chorus. The other, "The Pig-Keeping Prince," is based on Andersen's fairy tale. In this one, there is no singing, and the story is told only through recitation and piano accompaniment. Both are simple and enjoyable musical dramas that showcase the individuality of the performers.
