Edward Hovinga, the vocalist for the first three albums, left the band, and Ian Parry joined as the second vocalist. His first album after joining the band was \"State Of Mind.\" The addition of Ian's expressive vocals expanded the range of the band's work, and the album became their breakthrough and masterpiece. The band continued to play and released several albums, but gradually slowed down when Henk Van der Laars, the main songwriter of the band, left the band.
