Using the motif of Hasegawa cooking okonomiyaki, the artwork portrays a new image of Hasegawa Hakushi imbued with an everyday atmosphere. Naoki Takehisa, who handled the artist visual photography for the previous release, continues to serve as art director, with Moe Yoshino handling the design. Furthermore, the first single from the new album, “Lord of Honey,” is now available for digital download. This track features a live performance by “Haha to Hairpins,” a group of distinctive musicians, and while it is based on a simple band sound—a rarity for Hasegawa Hakushi—it is an emotionally complex track that defies easy categorization, interwoven with Hasegawa’s signature approach throughout.
