It has been believed that Benjamin committed suicide by poisoning in the mountains of the Pyrenees while on the run from the Nazis during World War II, but recent research has also raised the theory of his assassination. German-born American political philosopher and thinker Hannah Arendt (1906-1975) called Benjamin \"a man of letters. Rusicka is the music director of the Hamburg State Opera, the Hamburg Philharmonic Orchestra, and a professor at the Hamburg University of Music and Drama. He has recorded many of his own compositions and is known as one of the leading contemporary German composers. Ruzicka is a sonification of Benjamin's ideas and his life. Beginning with a suggestive opening in which dreams and reality intersect, the piece unfolds in seven stories, 10 pieces in total. The coupling piece, \"Elegy,\" was inspired by Wagner's works. This is another work full of Rusicka's talent.
