The album features world premiere recordings of iconic works inspired by literature, such as Ravel's \"Gaspard et Gaspard\" and Schubert's \"The Swan Song,\" as well as Prokofiev's \"Cinderella,\" which evokes the connection between sound and language, and works by two female composers with ties to the Krier's native Luxembourg. Greek composer Constantia Gruzi's \"Ithaca\" was commissioned by the Luxembourg Philharmonic Orchestra and was inspired by the Greek poet Constantine Cavafy's poem of the same name.
