Although his works are few in number, his piano music is rich in character and charm. This first collection contains three works. The \"Fantasies\" shows the influence of Beethoven, Brahms, and other composers, as well as Russian coloring. While the \"Six Piano Pieces\" is impressionistic and luminous music, the larger-scale Piano Sonata No. 1 is a very modern and simple work that foreshadows the minimalism of the 20th century, with spatially expansive sounds as the main axis of emotional expression. Performed by Julia Severus, who studied at the Berlin University of the Arts and the Tchaikovsky Conservatory in Moscow, and founded the Aurora Quartet and the Aurora Duo.
