I (professor at Tokyo University of the Arts) and Akihiko Igawa (professor at Kunitachi College of Music), who both reached the age of 60, recorded this session with the intention of making a CD that challenges the proposition of how far one can go at this age. The main piece is \"Concerto for two trumpets\" by Eric Morales, \"Concertino Classico\" by Josef Horowitz, and \"Dialogue\" by Eugène Boza, which is also the title of this CD. As solo pieces, Akihiko Igawa plays \"Sonata for Trumpet and Piano\" by Hindemith and Hiroki Tochimoto plays \"Concerto for Trumpet and Orchestra\" by William Perry.We recorded this session to preserve for posterity the wonderful tone of the hall and the musicality and timbre of the two musicians today. The piano was played by Nozomu Shimoda, who always performs at Tokyo University of the Arts.
