He passionately performs his masterpieces from his last years, Piano Sonata No. 21 and Improvisations, D.935! Pianist Takeyuki Ladai captivates listeners with his unique sensibility. Every year, he continues to give recitals at the Tokyo Bunka Kaikan Small Hall, and live recordings of these recitals are released on the SONARE label. This album is the recital \"Schubertiade 2021,\" which took place in September 2021 at the Corona Disaster. Ladder studied in Vienna, where Schubert lived in his later years. In his masterpiece Piano Sonata No. 21 from the last years of his life, he gave a masterful performance that showed the depth that only a ladder who has felt in that place can feel and the respect for this composer. The Improvisations, Op.142 D.935 is another late masterpiece. The piano tones spun note by note are filled with soul, and the tasteful performance by Ladai is astonishing.
