Schubert's last string quartet, No. 15, was written in a short period of 10 days, yet it is an extremely accomplished work. Although it is in the key of G major, the entire piece is full of tension, with Schubert's dizzying alternation of minor and major keys. Haydn's quartet is one of the series called \"Solar String Quartet\".
