Studied under Tamami Yabe and Kazuko Yasukawa. Immediately after completing his graduate studies, he went to France to study. He studied at the Ecole Normale de Musique in Paris under Jean Michaux, a great disciple of Cortot. The following year, he graduated from the Ecole Normale de Musique in Paris with a first prize unanimously awarded by the jury. Thereafter, he worked as an assistant at the Ecole Normale de Musique in Paris, teaching younger students and performing throughout Europe. He then moved to Italy to study with Piero Gwarino, Cassella's younger brother. He won top prizes at the Finale Ligure International Piano Competition, the Mario Zanfi Liszt International Piano Competition, and others. Since returning to Japan, she has been active in solo recitals, chamber music, collaboration with singers, CD recordings, FM and TV broadcasts. Her recitals with strong themes have been highly acclaimed in various fields, and she won the Grand Prize in the Music Division of the 54th Art Festival for a solo recital she held in 1999.In September 2011, his CD \"Japanese Variations\" won the Excellence Award in the Recording Division of the 66th Art Festival in 2011, and in 2012 he received the Matsumoto City Culture and Arts Grand Prize. He has released many solo and collaborative CDs. He also writes and revises scores on an ongoing basis.
