Influenced by his older brother's love of music, he made his debut in France as a soloist at the age of 16, and later studied composition and conducting at the Vienna Academy of Music. Eclecticism, diversity, and generosity have been the hallmarks of his artistic career, which has included all manner of collaborations as a composer, performer, conductor, and member of chamber music ensembles. His musicality has been acclaimed as major music in London, Sydney, New York, Turin, and elsewhere in the world.His ballet music has been performed by renowned choreographers at the Vienna State Opera, Royal Opera House, New York City Ballet, Theatre du Chatelet, San Francisco Ballet, Bolshoi Theatre, etc. He has also composed soundtracks for films.
