Since new instruments are difficult to obtain, the same instruments are passed down from generation to generation; however, the creaking of the bellows and the clicking of the buttons caused by wear and tear over time have, in fact, become important elements that define this music. Along with the \"kantsa\" (a type of rattle), the \"langoro\" (a drum), singing, and handclapping, the hararabo appears not only in everyday entertainment such as drinking gatherings but also in various rituals.
