The young piano trio Trio Aralia was formed in 2019 by students of the Paris Conservatory of Music in the elegant extreme Saint-Saëns and Chaminade. This fresh group has won prizes in several international competitions and participated in numerous music festivals. This album brings together the French piano trios of Saint-Saëns and Chaminade. They are 22 years apart in age, and both were blessed with longevity. The Saint-Saens works were written in 1892 and the Chaminade works were written in 1886, contemporaries, and both are full of French freshness, the pseudo-baroque Saint-Saens and the fashionable Chaminade.
