He studied philosophy and music at the Université de Montréal, Université de Marguerite and postgraduate studies, and was accepted by Michael Chance to study in England, where he made a sensational debut at the 1997 Glyndebourne Festival. He has performed in Handel and Monteverdi operas to critical acclaim and has a wide repertoire of contemporary music, including works by Bernstein and Ryuichi Sakamoto's \"Life\" (with the Dalai Lama and Carreras).Recently, she has performed and recorded Bach cantatas with Masaaki Suzuki\/Bach Collegium Japan, Gardiner\/Engliche Barock Soloists, and Herreweghe\/Collegium Vocale, and has received high praise for her natural voice and intelligent singing.
