The first analog release of Flying Ruttenbach's 1ST, released on cassette in 1992 and CD in 1996! This is an intense snapshot of the band's early years, featuring the stellar lineup of Weasel Walter, Hal Russell, and Chad Organ. Flying Ruttenbach has a rather impressive history for a band whose lineup seems to be constantly changing. The one constant is drummer Weasel Walter, who formed the band in Chicago in 1991. Walter is a fan and protégé of Hal Russell, leader of the explosively popular NRG Ensemble. With the addition of Walter's friend Chad Organ (tenor saxophone), the trio became the Flying Ruttenbachers.
