Description:
Jazz Furniture", featuring Esbjørn Svensson, Magnus Blue and other members of e.s.t. and Atomic, is a masterpiece of Swedish jazz from the 1990s. Jazz Furniture" is reissued and released for the first time on LP from Caprice, a long-established Swedish label! Jazz Furniture" is the first release by Caprice, a long-established Swedish label, and the first LP by the Swedish jazz piano trio e.s.t. (Esbjørn Svensson, Dan Berlind, and Magnus Åström) and the Norwegian/Swedish jazz band Atomic, who later became members of the Swedish jazz band Atomic. The band consisted of six young up-and-coming musicians of the time (and now legendary virtuosos), including Magnus Blue and Fredrik Jungqvist, who later became members of Atomic, and won the "Jazz i Sverige (Jazz in Sweden)" award in 1994.Their only recording was released on CD in 1994 as "CAP21449," but Swedish musician Jonas Kühlhammer has produced the reissue and this analog release is the result. As the cover says, the album is filled with the passionate belief of "knocking down the old jazz furniture (Furniture)," and brings back to the present day the cutting-edge Swedish jazz of the time, in which these musicians, with their roots in the 1950s and 60s, created a new kind of jazz using the style of rock music.Jazz Furniture] Magnus Blue (trumpet, flugelhorn, percussion), Fredrik Jungqvist (soprano & tenor sax, percussion), Per Texas Juhansson (clarinet, tenor sax, percussion), Esbjørn Svensson (piano, fender rhodes, percussion), Dan Berlind (double bass, percussion), and Erik Jungqvist (soprano & tenor sax, percussion) percussion), Esbjørn Svensson (piano, fender rhodes, percussion), Dan Berlind (double bass, percussion), Magnus Åström (drums, percussion) [Recorded] April 5-7, 1994 April 5-7, 1994, Bohus Studio (Gothenburg, Sweden)
