Following performances with the Berlin Philharmonic, Boston Symphony Orchestra, Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra, and Los Angeles Recording Arts Orchestra, this will be the first time that the Saito Kinen Orchestra will be performing together. Tickets for both performances were sold out on the day of the concert.John Williams and Seiji Ozawa have been close friends since Ozawa was the 13th Music Director of the Boston Symphony Orchestra and organized the Tanglewood Music Festival in western Massachusetts.
